City government serves the people and it must adapt with the changing
political, economic and social environment. We can not do business
in Mishawaka the way we have done it since 1833...It requires extraordinary
leadership, integrity and commitment. If there ever was room in
city government for personal, private or political considerations,
it is gone! Local officials must work together and work with their
constituents.
At the same time, they must be visionaries who think long-term
and big-picture, carefully balancing the interests of the community
with individual interests. We must have the wisdom to know what
is right and the courage to do what is right.
Mishawaka's public servants work long hours at little or no pay
to ensure your present safety and long-term welfare. We are proud
of the men and women who serve. Building on the rich heritage of
our fathers, our current team brings dedication and integrity to
their jobs. The strive together with our residents to help make
our city safe, secure, and enduring. The links below give you access
