The St. Joseph Valley Master Gardeners have adopted Kate's Garden. View a brochure containing more information about the adoption of Kate's Garden or visit their website for dates and information on various classes and workshops open to the public.


St. Joseph Valley Master Gardeners will be holding their annual Spring plant sale on Saturday, May 4, 2013 from 9am -1pm. These perennial plants are from the gardens of the St. Joseph Valley Master Gardeners themselves and are perfect for sun and shade! Proceeds from the sale will go toward funding projects at Kate's Garden. There will also be an question & answer table setup to help you with all your gardening problems. Come see us at 1122 Lincolnway West (the corner of LWW and Logan St in Mishawaka).

Features: Established in 1995 in memory of long-time community leader Catherine "Kate" Kosanovich, who had an deep and abiding love for all kinds of flowers. This park features the ‘Educators" sculpture by sculptor Tuck Langland, thousands of perennial and annual plants, and a brick pathway surrounding a gazebo. The gazebo is available for weddings and is a popular setting for outdoor photographs. Kate's Garden is on the Riverwalk trail system.
