Indianapolis (Oct. 21, 2016) - The Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) has approved Regional Cities Initiative funding to support three additional quality of place projects in north central Indiana that will promote STEM programming, increase downtown housing options and support the revitalization of historic buildings in the South Bend-Elkhart region.
The Mishawaka Police Department, in partnership with Lexus of Mishawaka, will host a free event featuring their new Kid Print ID program on Saturday, November 5, 2016 from 10am – 1pm. The event is free and will take place at the Lexus of Mishawaka dealership.
Through the combined efforts of the Mishawaka Sewer and Central Services Departments, the Beutter Park River Race was drained and cleaned in early October. Over the last several years the City’s premier water feature had accumulated a significant amount of heavy muck and debris.
Mishawaka Fire Department will hold three open houses to coincide with National Fire Prevention Week. Each open house will feature fun for the whole family including food and drinks, face painting, bounce house, fire extinguisher demonstrations, crafts and handouts for the kids.
