Fallen Officers Blood Drive June 17th

The Mishawaka Police Department is proud to partner with The South Bend Medical Foundation in hosting this year’s Fallen Officers Blood Drive. One donation saves the lives of three people right here in our community.

Please join us in honoring our fellow officers by donating blood on Wednesday, June 17th from 10:00am-4:00pm. The blood donation will take place at the Mishawaka Police Department, 200 N. Church St. in Mishawaka.

National Historic Preservation Month

The City of Mishawaka Historic Preservation Commission celebrated National Historic Preservation Month, starting the first full week of May, by placing signs in the front yards of over 75 homes and businesses that have historic significance in the community or wish to support historic preservation.

Honor Park Rededication Ceremony

The City will hold a brief ribbon-cutting ceremony at Honor Park on Normandy Drive, on Wednesday, May 20th at 9:30am to celebrate the recent renovation of this Veteran Memorial.

Stay Active and Swim!

Keep cool this summer by staying active - learn to swim! The Mishawaka Parks Department is offering swim lessons for children ages 5-18 at both Merrifield Pool and Mary Gibbard Pool. Sessions are $30 per child per session and there are a variety of session dates & times to choose from. Each session runs for two weeks (Monday-Friday) for 45 minutes each day. NOTE: The "Mom/Dad & Me" session at Merrifield is 30 minutes.
